Dear Uncle Jack, I know he was a fantastic Father to his 3 children, and a loving Husband to Aunt Dot.
To me he was the father figure, which I never had.
I remember being put on a train in London up to Newcastle & Uncle Jack was waiting for me at the Station. I was a school girl then. I had a great time and was well looked after.
I have only sad & unhappy memories of my Father, but oh so many happy memories of Uncle Jack. Spent many happy holidays at Stubbington over the later years.
Those times I will cherish.
When I visit churches & Cathedrals I always light three candles for Kerry Louise, Ted & my Mum. I will now add a fourth which will be for Uncle Jack.
Memories never fade.
